Overview
Where highline power is available, the Canrig PowerTAP module can be installed on rigs to accept grid power. It interfaces with the VFD powerhouse system, directly providing all electric power quickly to the rig without the need to run generators.
PowerTAP is designed to provide system resiliency through the option to switch to diesel generators in
the case of utility grid failure.
